Marketing Assistant
Job Description / Duties / Requirements


Job Title: Marketing Assistant
Reports To: WA Region Branch Mgr
Supervises: NA
Location: WA Branch Office

Summary:
Under minimal supervision, the Marketing Assistant is a professional, polite and efficient multi-tasker responsible for managing many facets of the mortgage banking branch marketing operations. Online marketing campaigns, website tool and database management, and agent partner marketing endeavors management. The ideal candidate will streamline marketing efforts of loan originators and real estate agent partners, thereby increasing branch office loan volume.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Learn and maintain Branch online marketing tool management systems
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns with branch manager, loan originators, and marketing compliance department
  • Client database updates, calendar event scheduling for client follow up and customer service
  • Video editing and online promotion management

Requirements:
  • 2+ Years as Marketing Assistant and/or Real Estate Assistant (Inactive real estate agent licensees only considered for assistant position.)
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Can be depended upon to complete work in a timely, accurate, and thorough manner and is conscientious about assignments
  • Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
  • Exhibits a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationships
  • Demonstrates predictable and regular attendance
  • The ideal candidate is a self motivated go-getter, with the ability to work in a fast paced environment where time deadlines are mission-critical.
  • Must be able to present a professional image and be available for off-site meetings with originators and/or agent partners
  • Must have reliable transportation for these meeting opportunities
  • Must be proficient with MS Word, Excel, Internet software and tools, have a basic understanding of simple html commands and learn new systems rapidly
  • Experience with multiple facets of marketing efforts and systems, and absolutely must "raise the bar" for the team's overall marketing endeavors and success rates.
     

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Work is performed primarily in a virtual office environment, occasionally in off-site location meetings
  • Requires sitting at a desk for long periods of time, up to 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • Requires sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, to permit the employee to function in a general office environment and accomplish tasks
  • Must be able to work on multiple assignments, under moderate stress levels

Compensation / Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly plus bonus compensation, medical, dental, vision, 401k, provided for full time W2 employees following 90 day probationary period.
